Mrs. Adell McFadden, 73, was born May 19, 1951 in Crawford, Mississippi to the late A.W. and Susie Lowery. She relocated to Flint, MI at a young age. Adell was peacefully called home on March 23, 2025.
Adell accepted Christ at an early and was a longtime member of Ebenezer Baptist Church before relocating to Texarkana. She then became an active member of Macedonia Baptist Church until her health declined.
She dedicated the majority of her working life to General Motors, from which she later retired. She enjoyed reading her Bible, singing, sewing, shopping, and anything to do with fashion and decorating. "You got to make it pop!" as she would say. She loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Adell shared so much wisdom, love, and laughter with everyone she encountered. Always there for family and friends near or far. Adell was a loving and caring wife, mother, sister, grandmother, relative and friend.
To cherish her memories she leaves: husband of 40 years, Willie McFadden; three daughters, Larresia (Tim) Williamson, Suzette Hariston, and Nikeia (Darryl) James; one son, Robert Hariston Jr.; three sisters, Betty Jean (Roger) Hendricks, Bernice Jordan and Vera Blackman; one brother, Walter (Joyce) Lowery; four brothers-in-law, Didly (Sharon) McFadden, Curt McFadden, Dellis (San) McFadden and Rick McFadden; eight grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; two brothers, Caleb Lowery and A.W. Lowery JR.; mother-in-law, Mary Lee McFadden; father-in-law, ERnest McFadden Sr.; three brothers-in-law, Woody McFadden, Joseph Jordan, and Ernest McFadden Jr.; and one son-in-law, David Cloyd Sr.
