Alice Zeola Hall Simpson Demings, 83, of Texarkana, was called home to be with our Lord and Savior on Thursday, November 21, 2019 in a local hospital.  Alice was born October 31, 1936 in Douglassville, Texas to the late Quilla and Fannie Dickerson Hall.

Alice graduated from the Cass County School System and worked in the HealthCare industry until retiring.  She attended Hickory Hill Baptist Church, Nash Texas.

Alice was preceded in death by husbands E.J. Simpson and Bobby Earl Demings, and her only son, Harold Jerome Simpson.

Those left to celebrate Alice's life are:

Her only brother, Curtis Lee Hall (Dorotha) and brother in love, Ernest Richardson who grew up with them in the family home.

Her daughters and sons-in-law:  Janet Houff (Juan), Vanessa Chatman (Terry), Beverly Maxwell, Bobbye Banks, and Sheree Dominguez (Daniel).

Thirteen Grandchildren: LaShonta Simpson, Ja'Net Simpson, Janet Simpson, Jamar Simpson, Sr., Juan Houff, Jr., Jimmonique Donelson, John Pressley, Jr., Courtnee Houff, Elaine Norwood, Javalen Keith, Shayvonntrrice Hunt, Jimmy Donelson III and Quilliyah Keith.

Eleven Great Grandchildren:  LaDrake Simpson, Bre'Aja James, J'Courtlyn Simpson, KeMora Howard, J'Mon Simpson, JazMonique Buford, Alexandria Buford, Logan Winfield, Jamar Simpson, Jr., Jaylee Simpson and Ramaj Simpson.

Two Great Great Grandsons:  Domonyk Simpson Burton and Kamar Callahan

Mother-in-law: Febline Demings; Brother-in-laws: Fredrick Demings (Sherry) and Donald Ray Demings (Gerdie); Sister-in-laws: Shirley Ann Clark, Gwenda Brown (Robert), and Lenora Childress.

And a host of extended family members and other relatives.

Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 pm Friday, November 29, 2019 at Hickory Hill Baptist Church, Nash, Texas.  Homegoing Celebration service will be held at 11a.m. Saturday, November 30, 2019, at Hickory Hill Baptist Church, Nash, Texas with Rev. Dr. James O. Hood, Pastor and Eulogists.   Burial will follow in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens, Wake Village, Texas under the direction of Haynes Mortuary.
