Alice Faye Easter-Hardwell was born December 15, 1952 in Emerson, Arkansas to the late Kenny and Ola Mae Easter who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by six brothers: Artis Easter, Ellis Easter, Charles Easter, Julius Easter Sr., Curtis Easter and Kenneth Easter and two sisters: Eula Faye Huntley, and Norma Jean Daniels. She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age at Forest Grove CME Church in Emerson, Arkansas.
Alice graduated in 1970 from Emerson High School. She furthered her education at Marygrove College in Detroit, Michigan. In 1975 Alice married her childhood sweetheart, Claude Jerry Hardwell, and they were blessed with two daughters Sharonda and Kawana. After staying 30 years in Detroit, Michigan, Alice and her husband relocated to Texarkana where they became members of Lonoke Baptist Church, where she remained a faithful member until her untimely passing. She worked for Christus St. Michaels Health System for 16yrs where she was a faithful and dedicated employee.
She leaves to cherish her memories; two daughters, Sharonda Smith and Kawana Hardwell of Texarkana, Texas; one sister Margie Easter of Magnolia, Arkansas; two brothers, Jerry Easter of Fruitland Park, Florida and Oliver (Delois) Easter of Dallas, Texas; four Grandchildren; Ashley Wilder of Arlington, Texas, Delonzo (Dee) Wilder of Irving, Texas, Davion Wilder of Texarkana, Texas and Marcus (M.J.) Smith of Texarkana, Texas and two great-grand children; Jeremiah Wilder of Pine Bluff, Arkansas and Kingston Wilder of Texarkana, Texas and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
