Alice Marie Richardson, 82 years old, a native of Bowie County, went home to be with the Lord and Savior on May 9, 2020 at Christian Care Center of Texarkana. She was born on November 10, 1937, to the late Crate and Mable Crowell. Alice was married to Sherman Richardson (deceased) for more than 50 years. She had a total of 4 children: Eddie Lee Crowell (Johnnie Faye) both are deceased, Ethel Faye Campbell (Willie) of Madison Alabama, Linnett Crump (Curtis) of Texarkana, TX and Conqueslane LaDawn Lewis (Edward) of Texarkana TX. Alice was blessed with grandchildren: LaShawn Campbell (Vera), Willie Campbell (Sara), Molina Crowell, Eddie Crowell Jr. (Wendy), Brandon Lewis, Amber Lewis (August) and Madison Lewis, Sinquannah Rigsby, Angel Crump, Ali Crump, Parneia Griffin. She also had a host of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was a member of Arkadelphia Baptist Church and as a young child accepted the Lord as her Savior. Alice (Sis) worked at Lone Star Ammunition Plant in her earlier years and retired from Red River Army Depot. Alice loved holidays and family gatherings. She was known as a caretaker by many family and friends. In her spare time, she loved bingo and attended horse racing events in Shreveport, LA. She was a strong-willed individual with a caring heart. She was loved deeply by her family and will be forever missed. Viewing will be held at Haynes Mortuary Inc. May 13, 2020, Time: 2:30PM 4:30PM The funeral service we be 12:00 Noon Friday, May 14,2020 at Arkadelphia Baptist Church, 1988 CR 1102, New Boston, TX. Burial will follow at Arkadelphia Cemetery.
