Angela Denise "Angie" Gipson was born on January 11, 1969, in Texarkana, TX to Elmon Gipson, Sr. and Emma Baker. Angela, affectionately known as "Angie" received her "Wings" to enter the Eternal Home on Wednesday, October 16, 2024. She was proceeded in death by her sisters: Sonya Gipson and Tonya Gipson; grandparents: Johnnie "JJ' Smith, Bessie Smith, Otis Baker, Sr., Rosie Lee Baker, and Roosevelt Gipson; aunts: Trebbie Carr and Annie Wade, uncles: Raymond Baker, Otis Baker, Sr., Willie Oliver, and James Smith; niece, Shemecca Williams; nephew, Martinez Gipson; and cousins: Reshaun Gipson, Larry Gray, and Michael Turner, II.

Angela attended Liberty Eylau High School in Texarkana, TX, class of 1988. She worked in Home Health as a Provider. Angela started her "Christian Walk," at an early age, at Holy Temple Church of Christ God in Christ in Maud, TX under the pastorate of Elder Johnnie "JJ" Smith. She touched so many lives during her time on earth.

She leaves to cherish her many memories: daughters, Antrice (Tyron) Threadgill, Ashley Gipson, Sharita (Shanetta) Houff-Bassett; parents, Elmon Gipson, Sr. and Emma Baker; grandchildren, Xaziver Gomer, Jakai Owens, Alexis Threadgill, Jakavion Owens, Sha'Niya Bemley, and Ty'ziya Burns; brother, Elmon (Janie) Gipson, Jr.; and sisters, Monshonda (Lonnie) Booker, June (Scotty) Daniels, and Linda (Rodney) Nelson and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, bonus family, and special friends. She has one special Great Aunt: Luetencie Butts
