Angelita Smalley, 49 of Texarkana, Texas died on Wednesday, April 1, 2026

Angelita Chantel Smalley AKA "Angie" was born in Texarkana, Texas on August 9, 1976. Angie attended Liberty-Eylau High School until 12th grade, then she transferred to Texas High School and graduated as a Tiger. She studied at Texarkana College, where she obtained her CNA license and began her nursing career at Edgewood Manor. Angie worked for several nursing facilities until becoming a tax preparer for Jackson Hewitt. She also worked in customer service for Burger King, McDonald's and Whataburger. Angie gained her wings on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at the age of 49.

She leaves behind.... her mother - Cleaster Smalley; her children - Trevon & Edon Smalley; her grandchildren - Edon Rashad Smalley, Jr., Yahnae Lynn Edon Smalley and Lakedon Rashad Smalley; her sisters - Kawona & Ashley Smalley; a niece and several nephews as well as a host of friends and loved ones.

Funeral service is scheduled for Friday, April 10th at 11:00 A.M. at Haynes Mortuary, Inc.
