Annie Faye Vaughn, age 71 of Redwater, Texas, passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2023, at a hospital in Dallas, Texas.

Annie was born January 14, 1952, in Redwater, Texas to the late Lorene Vaughn and late Raymond Dedmon. She was a graduate of Macedonia High School and from Cosmetology School. She was a member of Martin Chapel CME Church. She was loving and dedicated mother who was known as "Molly" to her family and friends and for her delicious cooking. She worked in the food service industry for 30 plus years, and began a career with Encompass, formally Healthsouth Rehabilitation Hospital, in 1993 where she remained until her health began to decline.

She is preceded in death by her mother, father, two sisters, Florine Lampkins and Vickie Brown, and her niece, Gwen Wilson.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory: two daughters, Schronda (John) Brown and Vette Vaughn both of Redwater, Texas; two sons, Chris Vaughn and Demetrius Vaughn both of Redwater, Texas; sisters, Alice (Ervin) Hall of Redwater, Texas and Sherron Brown, Joyce Brown, and Sandra (Allen) Harris all of Texarkana, Texas; brothers, Morris Dedmon of Redwater, Texas, Charles Vaughn of Texarkana, Texas, and Glen Alexander of New Boston, Texas; grandchildren, Scharrun, Ashley, Nickalette, Danyelle, Johnny, Chris Jr., Meesha, Weezy, Raquan, Sierra, Zee, J.J., and Tristan; great-grandchildren, JAycee, Chan, Jayda, Josh, Denver, Tim, Paisley, Jaylah, Everleigh, Keely, Kizzer, and Princeton; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
