Billy Wayne Kendricks was born on August 22, 1963 in Texarkana, Arkansas to the union of Lonnie and Lena Mae Kendrix.

Billy Wayne attended Arkansas High School where upon graduation he joined the workforce and held positions at Flowers' Bakery and Wright Tree Service among others. Upon his passing, he was employed at Tesla as an auto technician in Stockton, California. In 1991, Billy Wayne married Robertine Smith and from this union had seven beautiful children: Cylandra Smith (Texarkana), La'Adrian Scott (Fresno, CA), DeAaron Smith (Fresno, CA), Kakenya Brown (Texarkana), Kokeya Kendricks (Texarkana), Kendren Kendricks (Texarkana), and Faleisha Kendricks (Texarkana).

Billy Wayne enjoyed the company of his friends, riding motorcycles, taking care of plants, cheering for the 49ers, giving life advice, and listening to Maze, Levert, and the Isley Brothers. With his family near his side, Billy Wayne Kendricks transitioned from this earth after losing his battle with cancer on November 15, 2024.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie and Lena Kendrix, and brothers, Charles Caldwell, Leonard Hall, Sr., Gary Kendricks, Sr., and Alcus Kendrix.

He leaves to mourn: his seven children; sisters, Eva Easter of Fresno, CA and Shirley Armstrong of Champagne, IL; brother, Lonnie Kendrix, Jr. of Texarkana; 14 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
