Bobbie Earl Culberson Sr. was born February 6, 1939 to the late Leroy and Lizzie M. Culberson. He departed this life on June 27, 2024 at Christus St. Michael Hospital in Texarkana, Texas. Bobbie graduated from New Boston School District and enlisted in the United States Army and was activated to Desert Storm in 1991. Bobbie worked at Red River Army Depot/ Ammunitions where he received many awards for his service and commitment and retired as a WL-6 Leader after 47 years. Bobbie accepted Christ at an early age, uniting with the Shady Grove Baptist Church Old Boston, Texas and later, Church of the Living God Temple #4, Texarkana Ark, and Temple 79, Lodi Tx where he served faithfully until his demise. Bobbie and Dianna shared a total of 61 beautiful years together and 55 years in matrimony. They have 6 children, one being deceased. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Leroy and Lizzie Mae Culberson, Son Stevie Culberson, Brothers Leester Culberson, Charles Culberson Sr., Sisters Willie Mae Fisher and Eunice Forte.
Bobbie leaves to cherish his memories His wife, Pastor Dianna Culberson, One son Bobbie Culberson Jr. (Michelle) Plano Texas, four daughters Marsha Traylor (David) Hooks, Texas, Rhonda Culberson, Dallas, Texas Chatona Tibbs, Dallas Texas and Tamarah Culberson, Fort Worth, Texas. Acknowledging Monica Bohanon, California. One brother Artis Culberson (Trudell), New Boston, Texas. 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, relatives and Friends.
Visitation for Mr. Culberson will be Friday, July 5, from 5 to 7 PM at Haynes Mortuary. Funeral service will be 11 AM Saturday, July 6 at Church of the Living God Temple #4 928 Laurel St. Texarkana, AR 71854. Online registration is available at www.haynesmortuary.com
