Obituary

British Jean Dunn-Turner of Wake Village, Texas passed away Friday, March 6, 2020 at Baylor Hospital in Dallas, Texas.

Mrs. Turner was born June 11, 1950 in Texarkana, Arkansas.

She was retired from GTE/Valor Telephone Company.

She served as the First Lady of the Grandview Church of God in Christ, former District Missionary of the Texarkana District Texas Northeast; Third Vice President of the ArkLaTex Women on a Mission; Fellowship Outreach District Women's Department Program and Finance Committee.

Those left to cherish her memory are: the love of her life, her beloved husband of 36years, Elder Thomas Turner of Wake Village; one grandson, Stef-Phon Jackson, two brothers, Peter Dunn and his wife Ruthie and Don Albert Dunn and his wife Barbara of Texarkana, Texas; two sisters, Rubbie Peck of Clow, Arkansas and Ella Sted of San Diego, California and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the mortuary. The body will lie-in-repose from 11:00 – 12:00 Noon. The funeral service is at 12:00 Noon at the Lonoke Baptist Church, Texarkana, Arkansas. Burial will be at Chapelwood Memorial Gardens under the directions of Haynes Mortuary, Inc.
