Calvin "Smokey" Stevens 71 of Texarkana, TX died peacefully Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at a local hospice hospital.

Smokey was born September 11, 1948 in Texarkana, Arkansas to Steve and Betty Jo Stevens. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Smokey was also an active member of the Lions International.

Sandy and Smokey were a wonderful united team and were married for 50 years. They were members of Flower Acres Baptist Church for over 20 years. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Smokey is survived by his loving wife, Sandy Stevens, one son Trey Stevens of Texarkana, TX; one granddaughter – Brooke and Tyler Norwood of Genoa, Arkansas; one Grandson – Brady Stevens of Texarkana, TX and four Great-grandchildren – Bryleigh and Brantley Bohanon; Blake Simmons and Braelynn Norwood all of Genoa, Arkansas.

The family would like to invite you to a memorial service for Smokey on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at Flower Acres Baptist Church.

The family would also like to thank the staff of Texarkana Hospice and the Hospice Hospital for the amazing care he received while in their care.
