Carl Lamar Evans was born November 18, 1952 in Lexington, KY to the late George and Willie Mae Evans.

Carl was an automotive mechanic by profession. He loved working on and rebuilding cars. As he got older and was     unable to continue working on cars, it didn't stop him from being "Mr. Handyman"...he fixed everything he could inside and out of the house.  He was adamant about his yard and would mow it like clockwork. He also loved being outside with his coffee to watch the sun rise and set. When Carl wasn't watching westerns and old cowboy movies, you could find him playing his guitar to blues or making his own music.

Carl transitioned from time to eternity on Saturday, May 15, 2021 in Texarkana, AR. He was preceded in death by his       parents and one brother, Eric Evans.

He leaves to cherish his memory: two children, Carl Larmar Lane and Gary Dewayne Lane of Cincinnati, OH; two brothers, William Evans of Morehead, KY and George Evans of Detroit, MI; and one sister, Jackie Evans of Mt. Sterling, KY; and a host of other relatives and friends.
