Obituary

Cassie Mae "Cozy" Rivers, born November 6, 1946 in New Boston, Texas, departed this earthly life on July 21, 2020. She was preceded in death by her mother, father, and two siblings.

She is survived by: two children, Teresa Rivers and Oscar Rivers (Bridget); loving grandchildren, Reneasha Black, Oscar Rivers, III, Marcell Rivers, Jonathan Rivers, Josiah Rivers, Delane Rivers and Dalice Rivers; three sisters, Gloria Reed, Mary Daniels and Patricia Daniels; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.
Viewing for Ms. Rivers will be 5-7 PM Thursday, July 30, 2020 at Haynes Mortuary. Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM Friday, July 31, 2020 at Haynes Mortuary. Burial will follow at Cedar Springs Cemetery - Hooks, Texas with Bro. David Watkins officiating.
All attendees are required to wear masks and practice social distancing guidelines.
