Catherine Francine Ford, affectionately known as Fran to friends and family, was born on August 14, 1964, to the late Clarence and Anna Katherin Ford of Nash, Texas. She was the 4th of 9 children. She attended Texas High School where she was a proud and integral member of the choir. She graduated from Texas High in 1983.

Fran was a lifelong resident of Texarkana, Texas. Over the years, Fran held several different jobs; however, there are only two jobs she would want mentioned. The two jobs that she was most proud of, where she earned her highest titles and achieved her greatest accolades was that of being a Mother and a Grandmother. Fran loved her children and grandchildren fiercely and she worked tirelessly to provide them with everything they needed.
