Charles Lynwood Dangerfield was born in San Francisco, CA on May 22, 1947 to the late Dorothy Busby of California. He was the oldest of 3 siblings, Betty and Michael who both live in California.

After graduating from New Boston High School, Charles enlisted in the US Army in February 1968. After completion of his tour of duty he returned to Texas, where he met his wife, the late Veronica (Block) Dangerfield, while they worked together at Lonestar Army Ammunition Plant. Together, they raised five children and are survived by 1st son Charles Jr., youngest daughter Teresa, and youngest son Leon. He was preceded in death by daughter and oldest child Deborah Lynn and second son Jesse.

He was blessed to have seven grandchildren: Todd Lee, Jessica, Tania, Alexia, Joshua, and Major. He was preceded in death by granddaughter Abigail. He was blessed to have been survived by a host of extended family and friends.
