Christopher Lynn Sanders was born in Texarkana, TX to the late Patricia Sanders and Albert Davis on October 25, 1970. He was called to his Heavenly home on November 15, 2019. Chris was a member of Maud First Baptist Church. He graduated from Redwater High School in 1990. He played football #33. He was all North East Texas running back the year of 1990, 1 ^st team All District, MVP offense player of the district and All State running back. He also was the athlete of the year at Redwater in 1990 and All District in basketball and track. He later went on to play college football at the University of Arkansas at Monticello. He was employed at Cooper Tire until his health no longer allowed him to work. Chris was always a hard worker and never met a stranger. He was well liked and full of life. He will truly be missed.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Sanders; his father, Albert Davis; a sister, Donyell Rutherford; a brother, Cedric Davis, Sr.; his grandparents, Abron and Lela Mae Sanders and an uncle, Willis Sanders.

Best Friend – Michael Wilson

Visitation – Friday from 2:30 – 4:30 p.m. at the mortuary

Funeral – under the direction of Haynes Mortuary will be Saturday, November 23 ^rd at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Grove Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Kenneth Reid, Sr.
