Clarence DaWayne Shields was born October 24, 1972 in Texarkana, TX. He was the second son born to Doris Evelyn Johnson Shields and the late Clarence Shields.DaWayne grew up in the community of Maud where he began his education at the Maud ISD, later receiving his diploma from the Capella University of Chicago, IL.
He loved his family very much, but God was the first and far most important in his life. His hobbies were fishing and grilling.
DaWayne's employment background consisted mainly in the foodservice industry, where cooking and always tried to create different recipes for one to taste.
The one thing that will truly be missed is that big wide smile that no one else had and no one was a stranger to him, always polite.
DaWayne was baptized at an early age after receiving Christ at the Maud First Baptist Church. In the last several years, DaWayne became a member of and a faithful attendee at the Maud United Methodist Church, also attended North Avenue United Methodist Church, Pittsburg, TX.
Clarence DaWayne was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Shields.
He leaves to cherish his memories;
