Cynthia V. Holmes, 61, of Wake Village, Texas, transitioned to glory Thursday, April 1, 2021 in a local hospital.

Ms. Holmes was born February 16, 1960 in Texarkana, Arkansas. She was employed as a Drug and Alcohol Counselor for the state of Arkansas. She was preceded in death by: her mother, Bobbie J. Ellis; her father, Johnny Lee Holmes; two brothers, Johnny Holmes, Jr. and Ronnie Ellis; and one great niece, An'Bria Aubrey.

Survivors include: her sister, Rev. Dr. Charlotte E. Maxwell; two brothers, Reginald Holmes of Texarkana, TX and Anthony Stallworth of Dallas, TX; two aunts, Mildred Hurst of Chicago, IL and Mae Warren of Dallas, TX; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
