Brother Darrell Lee Banks, Sr was born to the parents of the late L.T. Banks, Sr., and Ruby Banks on July 17, 1961 in Texarkana, Arkansas. He was a 1979 graduate of Texas High School. After graduating high school, Brother Darrell Lee Banks, Sr. attended Texas Christian University (TCU) in Fort Worth, Texas. Shortly after that, in 1982, he joined the U.S. Army where he served his country as an Armor Crewman in the U.S. and in Germany.
Brother Darrell Lee Banks, Sr. accepted Christ at an early age under the leadership of Reverend Robert Lewis. If you knew Brother Darrell Lee Banks, Sr., you couldn't help but to love him. He will be remembered by many as always striving to help others, and above all, sharing and caring for his family and friends. Brother Darrell Lee Banks, Sr. departed this life Tuesday, October 31, 2023.
Brother Darrell Lee Banks, Sr. was preceded in death by his father, L.T. Banks, Sr., his brother L.T. Banks, Jr., and his nephew, Marcus Winn.
