Darrell Lynn "Mule" Love, 60, of Texarkana, Texas, was born April 28, 1961 in Texarkana, Texas to the late Lloyd Thomas, Jr. and Frances Marie Love Thomas. Darrell departed this life on January 28, 2022. He was preceded in death by: his parents; three sisters, Beverly Ann Love Cooksey, Shannon Louise Thomas and Deborah Gayle Thomas; one uncle, six aunts, and other cousins and family members.

He leaves to cherish his memories: brothers, Henry (Katie) Johnson of Dallas, Texas, James (Maggie) Thomas of Texarkana, Texas, Brian Delaney (Karen) Thomas of Arlington, Texas, Michael Thomas of Hooks, Texas, Johnathan JeRoy (Hiriko) Thomas of Hawaii and Gerald (Vanity) Thomas of Shreveport, LA; sisters, Loretha (Lionel) Joseph of Texarkana, Texas, Carolyn Wade of Houston, Texas, Billie (Raymond) Berry of Phoenix, Arizona, Essie Jones of New Boston, Texas and Barbara Johnson of Hooks, Texas; nephews, Rodney Cooksey of Las Vegas, Nevada, Roderick (Tanisha) Cooksey of San Diego, California, Anthony Thomas of Japan, Tristan Thomas of South Carolina and Kamron Love Thomas of Shreveport, Louisiana; nieces, Crystal (Jeff) Dunn of San Diego, California, Lorretta Ray of Texarkana, Texas and Ashley Thomas of Little Rock, Arkansas; his twin cousin, Anthony Love of Shreveport, Louisiana; a special cousin, Sherry Marshall of Texarkana; childhood friends, The Rosehill Gang of Stevens Courts; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial services for Mr. Love will be 1:00 PM Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Haynes Mortuary.
