Donald C. Reed was born to Ocie Wishum and Carrie M. Reed on June 8, 1962. Donald attended Texas High School and graduated in 1981. He was employed at Twin City Bounce, Texarkana, Texas.

Donald departed this earthly life on January 27, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, his grandmother, Reo Hudson, his wife, Angela Reed, one stepdaughter, Jackie Thomas, and one brother, Felix Reed.

He leaves to cherish fond memories: children, Jameka Coleman and Donald Ray Coleman of Texarkana, Texas, and Patricia Reed and Eddie Reed of Houston, Texas; sisters, Mae (Bennie) Prim, Vera Daniels, and Carolyn Russell all of Texarkana, Texas and Margaret Pugh of San Pablo, CA; brothers, Eddie Reed, Jeffery Reed, Morice Reed, Toncie Reed, Ricky Jackson, and Marco Jackson all of Texarkana, Texas and Daryl Graham of Dallas, Texas; as well as 12 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Reed will be 2:00 PM Friday, February 9, 2024 at Haynes Mortuary 7238 W 7th Street, Texarkana, Texas, with interment to follow at Chapelwood Memorial Gardens in Wake Village, Texas.
