In Loving Memory of Dories M. Henson:

August 5, 1962 – February 24, 2026

Dories Henson was born on August 5, 1962. She peacefully departed this life on February 24, 2026.

Dories was a proud graduate of Arkansas High School, Class of 1980. She carried herself with dignity, confidence, and grace throughout her life. She will fondly be remembered for her remarkable gift in the kitchen. Her cooking brought family and friends together, and her meals were prepared with love, warmth, and a special touch that could never be duplicated.
Known as a true fashionista, Dories had an eye for style and a flair for elegance. She took pride in her appearance and inspired others with her bold and confident presence.

Dories was a member of Canaan Baptist Church. She retired from Red River Army Depot.

She was preceded in death by her loving mother, Wilma Dixon; her father, Clyde Dixon; her husband, Richard Henson; and her sister, Etta Dixon.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories: her devoted daughter, Christian D. Williams; her beloved grandson, Jalen E. Nelson; her brother, Clyde Dixon Jr. (Debra); along with a host of other relatives and friends who will deeply miss her love, strength, and beautiful spirit.

Though she has departed from this earthly life, her legacy of love, faith, flavor, and fashion will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Memorial Service will be Friday March 6, 2026, at 1:00 pm At Haynes Chapel.
