Earma Nell Casteel was born in Texarkana, TX on July 23, 1951 to the late Dock and Margie Bradley-Banks. Earma departed this life on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 while hospitalized for multiple health issues.
She was baptized and accepted Christ at a young age and was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church. She graduated from Macedonia High School, Class of 1969. She worked at Red River Army Depot as a warehouse packer and retired after 30 years of service. She was united in marriage to the late Carl Lee Casteel on March 6, 1972; to this union, three handsome boys were born. She was preceded in death by her eldest son, Anthony Bernard Casteel.
She leaves to cherish her memory: two sons, Byron Keith Casteel (Christal) and Gregory Wayne Casteel; three sisters, Gloria Chatman, Bobbie McKinney (Will) and Debra Banks; brother, Willie Casteel (Shirley); sister-in-law, Pearlene Banks; two aunts, Ruby Banks and Eileen Banks; grandchildren, DeShayla Johnson, Demondrea Shepard, Anthony "Lil Ant" Casteel, KaCharundra Casteel, De'Ada Casteel, Atiyas Casteel, Antowne Casteel; great-grandchildren, Jamal, Jayla, Demondrea, Jr., Chase & Gabe Shepard, DeKari, DeKiyah & DeKavian Johnson and Ahmari Moran; special niece and nephew, Sandra Johnson and Dennis Banks, Sr.; special cousins, Morris Bradley and Geraldine Grant; and a host of other relatives and friends.
