Eddie Ruth Hamilton Adams was born July 16, 1943 in Texarkana, Arkansas to the parentage of the late Reather Hamilton and Jim Cole, Sr.

In 1962, Eddie Ruth united in matrimony to the late Elijah Adams. She brought five children into this world, Michelle, Michael, Elijah, Jr., Charles Ray and Steven. She also raised two other sons, Wayne and Darryl Adams.

Eddie Ruth departed this earthly life on Monday, May 20, 2019 at Christus St. Michael Hospital. She was preceded in death by: her parents, Reather and Jim Cole, Sr.; five brothers, Wilbert, Willie, Jim, Jimmy Lee and Lee George Hamilton; two sons, Elijah and Charles Ray Adams; one grandson, Markeese Bagby; and two great-grandchildren, Patrick and Baby Boy Hollins.

She leaves to cherish her memory: one daughter, Michelle; four sons, Michael, Steven, Darryl and Wayne; one sister, Maggie; one brother, Jeffrey; twenty-nine (29) grandchildren; thirty-one (31) great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
