Edward David Taylor "Ed" age 66 was born March 31, 1954 to the late Willie Daniel Taylor and Ruthie Lee Forte-Taylor in Bakersfield, California.

He graduated from New Boston High School, was employed many years with Red River Army Depot in Bowie County, Texas and most recently with the Shute Management Company in New Boston.

Ed departed this life on Monday, July 13, 2020 at his residence.

He leave to cherish his memories: his daughter Hazel Jean Hall-Taylor of New Boston, Texas his stepsons Gene Hall and Chris Hall and stepdaughter Joyce Hall; one brother Marvin Taylor (Joyce) of Texarkana, Arkansas; three sisters Myrtle Haywood and Beverly Taylor of New Boston, Texas and Esther Wade of Triangle, Virginia; three nieces Caryn Haywood, Michele Haywood and Tamara Taylor of New Boston, Texas; two nephews SGM Karlton Wade of Fort Polk, Louisiana and Eric Wade of Wake Village, Texas; a host of cousins, other relatives, friends along with close friends David Shute of New Boston, Texas and Ella Mae Neal.

Viewing Friday from 2:30-4:30 p.m. at the mortuary and graveside services under the direction of Haynes Mortuary, Inc. Saturday July 18, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Arkadelphia Cemetery in New Boston, Texas.
