Eunice Alwilder Henderson, age 79, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 31 st ,
2023, at Christus St. Michael Hospital in Texarkana, Tx. Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 11:00 a.m., at Oak Street Baptist Church. Interment will follow at
Chapelwood Memorial Gardens in Nash, Tx.

Eunice was born February 19, 1944, to the late Clarice Hart and Johnie Brown. She was
married to the late Othie Dean Henderson. To this union, 3 daughters were born, Shontina M.
Henderson, Moneik D. Jackson, and Margo E. Witcher. She was a member of Oak Street Baptist
church and was the owner/operator of Southern Connections soul food restaurant in Texarkana
for several years. She briefly worked in the Pleasant Grove School District.

Eunice was preceded in death by one daughter, Shontina Henderson, one sister, Jean
Gamble and 4 brothers, Vernon Richardson, Benjamin Richardson, John Brown and James
Brown.

She leaves to cherish her memory, 2 daughters, Moneik D. Jackson, Margo E. Witcher
(Darrell), 1 stepson Tony McFerguson, 3 sisters, Velma Jones, Carolyn F. Anderson (Hubert
"Bobo"), Sheila L. Washington (George), and Shonna L. Brown. She also leaves 5
grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
