Floriene W. Roberson

Born December 5, 1941 to the late John A. and Irene Wicks in Linden, Texas. She united in Holy matrimony to the late Jim F. Roberson in 1957.

Floriene attended Old Fairview High School. She was employed as a Nurse Aide for 40 years until her health declined. She was a member of College Hill Baptist Church in Texarkana, AR.

Floriene had a heart full of love for her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her extended family. She loved fishing, cooking and dancing.

She transitioned on October 13, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son Earnest Roberson, Sr., two brothers: Oliver Weeks and Marvin Weeks; one sister: Tiny Jones; grandson: Larry Roberson; and a great grandson: Marcellas Roberson.

Those left to cherish her memories: daughter: Flora M. Bey; brother: Sammy E. Wicks; sister: Esterlene Broussard (Earnest); grandchildren: Formica Bailey (Sam); Felicia Roberson, Alicia Roberson,Jermetras Willis, Shawntellie Roberts, Earnest Roberson (Shalonda); Brandon Roberson, Jarvis Roberson and LaQuavion Roberson; eighteen great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, sister-in-law: Mary Wicks; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and other relatives.

Graveside service will be Wednesday October 26 ^th at 1:00 p.m. at Chapelwood Memorial Gardens under the direction of Haynes Mortuary, Inc. online registration is available at www.haynesmortuary.com
