Gregory Lattier was born June 19, 1950 in Shreveport, Louisiana to the parentage of the late Milton Lattier, Sr. and the late Eyvonne Ware. He began his early education in the Caddo Parish School System and later moved to Texas to complete his secondary education at New Boston High School in 1968. Gregory was a Vietnam Veteran and a retiree of Defense Logistics Agency-Red River Army Depot.
He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He also enjoyed playing dominoes throughout his membership at the Holly Creek Hunting Club. Also, he enjoyed going house to house playing dominoes with his Domino Buddies. He attended Area and National conferences of the Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc and won 1st and 2nd place trophies within the last 6 years,
He accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Hurricane Bluff Baptist Church in Shreveport Louisiana. At his time of death, he was an active member of Recovery Ministries International Church in New Boston, TX. He served as Sunday School Superintendent, prayer leader and showed dedication to all spiritual duties of his church.

Two brothers Jeryl Henix of Shreveport, LA and John Lattier of St. Louis, MO;
Four sisters Janet Gibson of Houston, TX; Mardrella Williams of Hawthrone, CA; Shirley Tolliver and Joyce Ann Guiden of Shreveport, LA;
Two Brother-in-laws Charlie Johnson (Louise) and John A. Johnson Sr. New Orleans, LA;
Two Sister-in laws Charlean Carroll (Larry) New Boston, TX and Marilyn Johnson (George) Little Rock, AR;
Three very special cousins, Cleo Phillips, Sr. of New Boston, TX; Marie Phillips and Lois Miller (Mike) of Fort Worth, TX; a host of other relatives and friends and Domino Buddies.
