Harold Lynn Hurd was born June 2, 1964 to the late Willie M. and Leila M. Hurd. He peacefully went to be with the Lord on September 9, 2020 at Christus St. Michael in Texarkana, TX.

Harold attended New Boston Central High School. While in school, he met Lou Ann Riley. They later were united in marriage. Harold served many years in the Army and then went into the Army Reserve. Before getting an Honorable discharge, he received multiple medals. After getting out of the Army, Harold started working for Red River Army Depot as a Mechanic and retired after 30 years. Harold loved playing dominoes, playing cards, hunting, traveling, spending quality time with family and friends, and most importantly... EATING!!

Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Leila Hurd, 2 sisters: Margie Hurd and Leila Jimison, and 2 brothers: Willie Hurd, Jr. and Larry Hurd.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories:

Great-Granddaughters: Liberty and Aubrey King of Texarkana, AR

Sisters: Sallie (Willie) Alexander, Myrtle Sutton and Vivian Peterson of New Boston, TX, and Mary Lou Hurd of Allen, TX

Brothers: Jesse (Cynthia) Hurd and Ottis (Anna) Hurd of New Boston, TX

Special Niece: LaTonya (Eric) Turner of Fort Worth, TX
