Hazel L. Rockwell 90 of Texarkana, TX went home to be with her LORD and Savior on Sunday, July 24th. Mrs. Rockwell was born on May 30, 1932, the daughter of Kinnie and Rebecca Fowler in Texarkana, TX. She accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Bethlehem Church of God in Christ and Holy Temple Church of God in Christ. She loved ministering the Word of God to family and friends near and far.

She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her favorite pastimes included gardening, raising cows and carpentry.

Mrs. Rockwell and her husband started Rockwell Trash Service in 1970. She remained a vital part of the business until the Lord called her home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Rockwell and grandson, Christopher Rockwell.

She leaves to cherish her memory: two sons, Kenneth Rockwell and wife Iwona and Joseph Rockwell and wife Xiniamay; two daughters, Gwendolyn Rockwell and Gwenevere Joyce Rockwell-Bennett; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Services under the direction of Haynes Mortuary: visitation is Friday, July 29th from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the mortuary. Celebration of life service will be Saturday, July 30th at 11:00 a.m. at Christ Nations Church. Burial will be at the Nash cemetery.
