Henry Tyrone Godfrey, 72 of Hooks, Texas, was born on May 23,1949 to the late C.D. and Essie Godfrey. He departed this life on June 19, 2021 in Dallas, Texas. He was a member of the Leary Chapel Baptist Church in Leary, Texas.

He leaves to cherish his memory: ex-wife, Emma Godfrey of Leary, Texas; four daughters, LaShawn Godfrey of Leary, Texas, Keysha Godfrey of Dallas, Texas, Tijuana Hilburn of Greenville, Texas and Kyler Majors of Dallas, Texas. One son, Parnell Godfrey, preceded him in death.
