Imogene Odessa Goodspeed

Mrs. Imogene Odessa Walthall Goodspeed was born December 1, 1928, in Clarksville, Texas to the parentage of Edwin King Walthall and Edith Elleanor Dickson Brown. She departed this life on June 27, 2025.

She was the beloved matriarch of her family and will be remembered always for the wisdom she imparted to all who knew her.

Imogene was preceded in death by her husband Melvin E. Goodspeed, Sr., her parents and her siblings: Albert, Lester and Wardell Walthall, Clara Olive Jackson, Josephine Cornelius and Savantha McCary.

Philips, Texarkana,Texas, Sandra Richardson(Herbert), Lawrenceville, Georgia, Janet Johnson, Tampa, Florida, Kenneth Johnson(Pamela), El Paso, Texas, Kim Austin(Stephen), Nash, Texas, Melba Goodspeed, Mansfield, Texas and Zelda Glass(Mendell), One Brother-In-Law: Carl Holloway, Sr.(Georgia) Riverside, California; 35 Grandchildren, 37 Great Grandchildren and 15 Great-Great Grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
