James Ray Moore was born July 21, 1978 in Texarkana, Texas to the late David Moore, Jr. and Mary Louise Johnson. April 24, 2004, James met his future wife, Ineeca Johnson, and were engaged soon after on June 10, 2004. They were united in marriage on January 20, 2005. Their family was blessed and expanded with the births of their beautiful children Joshua and Trinity.
James began his music ministry as a young boy playing drums for Evangelist Temple for several years and continued his musical progression to the keyboard for several local ministries. James received his clergy license on December 31, 2009 through the Mt. Zion Baptist Transformation Center. On May 17, 2019, James saw one of his longtime goals fulfilled with the release of his song, "Amazing".
James departed this life on August 21, 2020 at Christus St. Michael Health System. He was preceded in death by his father David Moore, Jr.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Ineeca Moore; son, Joshua Moore; daughter, Trinity Moore; mother, Mary Louise Johnson; brothers, Dwight Jackson, David (Pam) Moore, III and Arthur "Bam" Moore; sisters, Rose Johnson, Wanda Bailey, Mary Moore, Ocie Washington, Kissy Harrison and Mattie (Edward) Temple; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
