Jamie Lee Roberson, affectionately known as "Spotlight," graced this world with his vibrant spirit on April 24, 1970, in Texarkana, TX. On January 28, 2025, at the age of 54, he passed away peacefully at home, leaving behind a legacy of love, service, and unwavering generosity.

A man of immense heart and boundless energy, Spotlight dedicated two decades of his life to serving his country as both a proud Marine and Army soldier. With steadfast honor and sacrifice, he exemplified the true essence of dedication-not just to his fellow service members but to everyone he encountered. His commitment to uplifting others continued well beyond his military career, making him a beacon of hope within his community.

Spotlight's presence was undeniable. Towering at six feet tall, he filled every room with laughter, warmth, and a kind of light that could never be dimmed. His generosity knew no bounds-whether he was handing out gifts and bicycles to children, ensuring a warm meal for those in need, or simply sharing his infectious joy with those around him, he lived to give. Even when his ways were misunderstood, those who truly knew him recognized that his every action came from a place of deep love and care.

He was a man who believed in the power of joy, in the importance of giving, and in the beauty of a life well-lived. His impact will be felt for generations to come.

Spotlight leaves behind a loving family who will continue to carry his light forward: his beloved daughters, Gelisa Roberson and Courtney Rankins; his cherished grandchildren, Yo'Lisa, Kal-El, Arianna, and Giovanni; his devoted sister, Marilyn Cullins of Kansas City, KS; and his dear brother, Timothy Roberson of Texarkana, AR. He now reunites with his parents, Tom and Essie Roberson, who preceded him in passing.
