Obituary

Janice Roberson was born on October 22, 1955 to James and Joyce Moss in Ogden, Utah. She later moved to Santa Ana, California where she met the love of her life, TJ Roberson. They married June 1, 1974. Through this union they raised three children, Teresa, Deon (David), and Danielle. They later would adopt her cousin Dwonna and raise her as their own.
Janice has always taken being a wife and mother seriously. Absolutely nothing would come before her family. She firmly believed that the family is the first ministry.
Janice has always been her husband's, Pastor TJ Roberson, biggest supporter. She served as a First Lady for over forty of their fifty-year union. Through serving in ministry alongside her husband, she touched hundreds if not thousands of lives.
Janice was known for having a heart full of kindness and compassion for people. She always offered a listening ear or a warm embrace. She wasn't shy and wouldn't hesitate to tell you exactly what she thought but somehow everyone that she came in contact with knew she would always be in their corner. Once you felt her love, you knew she was genuine to the core.
Janice was full of hidden talents; after finding her creative niche' in floral design, she found joy in baking cakes and keeping a house so clean that one would wonder if anyone lived there. She also had a deep love for jewelry making, creating beautiful one-of-a-kind pieces that reflected her creativity and attention to detail. She left an imprint of excellence in everything she touched.
She entered into rest February 10, 2025, in Texarkana, TX. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Pastor TJ Roberson, her children, Teresa Morrison (De'Andre I), Deon (Calandra), Danielle Gulley (Rickey), and Dwonna Collins (Harold), her grandchildren, AKayla, DeVonte', Kristina, De'Andre II, De'Sean (Cassandre), Mia, Courtney, Jalyn, Nakyhia, Devron, Darrion, and her great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Drake, Craig Jr (BAM), Promise, Leilani, Legend, Stephen Jr, and Kai. She's also survived by seven siblings: six brothers, Roger (Carolyn), Michael (Debbie), Franklin (Val), Donald, Greg (Julie), and Norman; and one sister Kaye (Steve). She leaves behind her best friend and sister Margie Putman (Jesse) along with other beloved nephews, nieces, cousins, God-children, and friends.
