Kirby D. Burks was born on December 19, 1990 in Texarkana, TX. He graduated from Ashdown High School in 2009. After graduating from Texarkana College in 2017, he worked for UTLR for 2 years as a welder. Mr. Burks passed away on July 8, 2020 in a local hospital at the age of 29.

Kirby was preceded in death by his Grandparents: Erma and Tom Burks, and Shirley Solomon; Aunt: Jean Burks; and Great-Great Grandmother: Margie Duson-Dodd.

Viewing for Mr. Burks will be Wednesday, July 15, 2020 from 2:30 – 4:30 PM at Haynes Mortuary. Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, July 16, 2020 at Chapelwood Memorial Gardens with Pastor Rufus Robinson. officiating.
