Mrs. Lillie Marie Morbley Dedmon was born October 10, 1939 to Artis and Claudine Morbley. She was a graduate of Marvin Pynes High School, DeKalb, Texas and a member of Antioch Baptist Church where she remained faithful until her health failed.

Mrs. Dedmon was employed with New Boston Nursing Center as a Certified Nursing Assistant from which she retired. She was loved by all who came in contact with her. She truly had a heart of gold.

On Saturday, August 22, 2020, Mrs. Lillie Marie Dedmon was called from earthly labor to heavenly reward! She was preceded in death by: her parents, Artis and Claudine Morbley; brothers, Vernon, Raymond, Curtis, Lee, Charles, Leo, Harold and Jimmy Morbley; and sisters, Alma Boone and Johnnie B. Boone.

She leaves to cherish lasting memories: daughters, Rosalind Betts Pink (Raymond) of Tyler, Texas, Marvis Daniels (Chris) and Michelle Dedmon of New Boston, Texas; sons, Albert Betts, Jr. (Joey) and Eddie Dedmon, Jr. (Vanessa) of New Boston, Texas and Phillip Dedmon (Hilda) of Waldorf, Maryland; step-daughter, Yulonda Stephens; sister-in-law, Maureen Morbley of Plano, Texas; 16 grandchildren, 22  great-grandchildren; close friends, Ella Mae Thompson and Thelma Nelson; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Graveside services for Mrs. Dedmon will be 10:00 AM Saturday, August 29, 2020 at the Antioch-Prosperity Cemetery in New Boston, Texas. Visitation will be 12-2 PM Friday at Haynes Mortuary, Inc.
