Lillie Mae Williams was born December 30, 1932 in Richmond, Arkansas; the only child born to the parentage of Hiawatha Carr and Bennie Simmons.

Lillie Mae was a long-time employee of Day & Zimmerman and a retiree of Flowers Bakery and a retired chef. She was a member of the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church where she served under the leadership of various pastors, most recent being Pastor Marvin Warren.

In her leisure time, Lillie enjoyed working word puzzles, fishing, and trips to the casino or bingo hall. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

Lillie Mae Williams departed this earthly life on November 19, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Shirley Ann King; and an adopted son, Darius Pollard.

She leaves to cherish precious memories: daughters, Willie Mae Jackson and Patricia Irving of Texarkana, Texas; son, Eldridge Harris of Texarkana, Texas; adopted sons, Patrick King and Alex Pollard; as well as a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and a multitude of wonderful and caring friends.
