Lillie Mae Polk Williams was born October 15, 1948 in Mira, Louisiana to the late L.C. Polk and Josie Polk. She accepted Christ at an early age and united with the Bright Star Baptist Church until she relocated to Texarkana.
Sister Polk was a faithful member for 20 years of the Power House Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Rev. Nard. She was a Sunday School teacher and financial assistant.
Lillie Mae Polk Williams departed this earthly life on Tuesday, July 28, 2020. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Tommy "Fuzzy" Williams; her parents; three sisters, Rosie Polk, Gloria Shepard and Burnell James; and one brother, Londell Larry.
She leaves to cherish loving memories: son, Darrin Williams of Texarkana, TX; two sisters, Joyce Polk and Shirley Richardson of Texarkana, TX; three brothers, Raymond Larry and Willie Polk of Texarkana, TX and L.C. Larry, Jr. of Shreveport, LA; four grandchildren, Keimoni Conay Holmes, Alex Williams, Deonte Williams and Corey Williams of Texarkana, TX; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
