Margaret Ree Sharp, 92 of Texarkana, Texas died on July 1, 2020 at Christus St. Michaels in Texarkana, Texas. She was born to the late Charles Daniel and Essie Richards-Godfrey on October 8, 1927 in Junction City, Arkansas. She married the late Ernest Sharp and from their union were blessed with three children: Bruce Dexter Sharp, Cynthia Marie Sharp and Arndra Lanarda Sharp.

She was an active member of the Hopewell C.M.E. Church in Texarkana, Texas. After returning to Texarkana, she united with the Leary Chapel Baptist Church. Margaret was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great- grandmother who enjoyed crochet, fishing, and cooking delicious meals.
Margaret was preceded in death by her son Bruce Sharp; brothers Richard Earl Godfrey, Robert L. Godfrey and sister Marie Godfrey-Banks.
Margaret is survived by daughter Cynthia Sharp; son Arndra Sharp; brother Tyrone Godfrey and sister Maxine (Robert) Kennedy. Along with a host of nieces, nephews, daughter-in-law Ginger Sharp, numerous grandchildren and one great- grandchild, cousins, and many friends. Services will be:
