Michael Shawn Runnels was born March 12, 1970 in Fort Worth, Texas to the late Lena Louise Runnels and Bennie Bailey.                                    He departed this life on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 after a brief illness.

Michael was a graduate of R.L. Paschal High class of 1988 in Fort Worth.  Immediately after graduation, Michael was employed with JPMorgan Chase Bank as a Reference Data Associate for over 33 years.

He was a devoted member of Sanctuary of Praise Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas; the Reverend William Morgan is pastor.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers:  Joseph Andrew Runnels and Joe Cecil Runnels.

He leaves to cherish his memories:

Funeral service:  Piney Grove Baptist Church - 83 Piney Grove Circle - Tuesday, December 30th at 11:00 a.m.

Viewing: will be one hour prior to the service (10:00 - 11:00 a.m.)
