Morris Wayne "Skinner" Dedmon age 70 of Redwater, Tx passed away on
Wednesday March 19, 2025 at Christus St. Micheal's Hospital in Texarkana, Texas.

Morris Wayne Dedmon was born December 11,1954 in Redwater,
Texas to the late Lorene Vaughn and Stoney Brown. Skinner, as he was
affectionately called by family and friends, attended Redwater School. He was a construction worker who had experience in building house pads, driveways and clearing land. Skinner was also a master winemaker which he loved doing in his spare time when he wasn't spending time in his garden and taking care of his chickens. If he sent you to feed those chickens and get them eggs you better have done it his way, or you would get a scolding, because if you knew him you knew him. Skinner also had a love for the casinos where he loved to go and have himself a good ole time. We will miss you, but God needed you more so take your rest until we meet again.

He is preceded in death by: his mother, Lorene Vaughn; father, Stoney Brown; three sisters, Florine Lampkins, Annie Faye Vaughn and Vickie Lynn Brown; one brother, Glendale Alexander; and two nieces, Gwen "Pedie" Wilson and Renita "Netha" Brown.

He leaves to cherish his memory: four daughters, Candy (Jerry) Ward of Nashville, AR, Morissa Sanders of Texarkana, TX, ToMorrie (George) Woods of Hooks, TX, and Jennifer Otwell of Redwater, TX; three sons, Jody O'Keefe of Nashville, AR, Joe Otwell of Redwater, TX, and Stoney Smith of Texarkana, TX; four sisters, Joyce Brown, Sherron Brown and Sandra (Allen) Harris of Texarkana, TX and Alice (Ervin) Hall of Redwater, TX; one brother, Charles (Dorothy) Vaughn of Texarkana, AR; grandchildren, Kam'Ren, Orlando Jr., Kavon, Jadyn, Justyce, Jahlil, Jenesys, Michael, Freedom, Kyler, Baker, Brianna, and Zoe; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
