Norma Ray was born September 16, 1954 in Denver, CO. When she was 6 years old, she moved to Texarkana, TX and became a member of the Redcutt Community. She attended Grandview and Liberty-Eylau schools and was a proud graduate of Liberty-Eylau High School's class of 1973. Her love of learning took her to Metropolitan State University(Denver, CO), East Texas State University and Southern Arkansas University. Norma touched her community with her gift of photography and her love of teaching. Whether it be Sunday School, community outreach programs, or life lessons—she was intent on sharing her passions and bettering the world around her. If you asked her what her "superpower" was, she would tell you love. Starting with her devout love of God, His word and His works. Her work in the church was a defining part of who she was. She leaves to cherish her memories, love and laughter to all that knew her.
Please pray peace and restoration for her children, John (Kassey and Zaylin) and Ruby. Her granddaughter, Dre, her nephew Jimmy (Felicia), great nieces Jelecia and Jordyn. And, Cuzzy's Crew: Jaden, Khaari, Maati and Kephri Asaru (or, as she called him "Bud").
