Norma Vaughn was born September 5, 1933, in Santa Monica, CA. Her employment history includes St. Michael Hospital, Lone Star Army Ammunition Depot, and retired from Texarkana Housing Authority.

Norma was united in Holy Matrimony to James Arthur Beal and blessed with three children, Normal R., James C., and Theresa L. Beal. Norma later married Freeman Vaughn who preceded her in death 2014.She joined Macedonia Baptist Church in 1967, a faithful and dedicated member for 59 years. 

She was a devoted member of the Senior Choir and Usher Board until she could no longer serve due to her failing health.

She leaves a rich legacy for her loving children: Normal R. Danzie, deceased husband, Bobby Danzie, Augusta, GA, James Carnell Beal, wife Ruby Beal, DeSoto, TX, and Theresa L. Johns, husband Anthony Johns, Hampton, VA. Her adoring Grand children: Dashjuhan Danzie, Bobby Danzie Jr., wife Jessica and great grands Matthew and Grayson Danzie. Burantz Danzie, Marvon Danzie, great grands Xolani and X'hosa Danzie. Grandson, James Beal Jr., wife Cody Beal, great grands Destiny Minnifield, DawnJay Beal, Emerald Beal. Grandson, Jermaine Beal, great grands Jaidyn Beal and Legend Beal. Grandson, Jarrett Beal, great Grand Kamira Jade Beal and Grand daughter Sheria Sanders.
