Funeral services for Princess Delois Hunter, 82, of Nash, Texas will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, September 2nd, 2025 at the Hickory Hill Baptist Church, 298 Cantrell Street, Nash, Texas. Princess Delois Spratt was born Friday, May 7, 1943, to the union of Arvene Spratt and Laura Bell Minorr in Texarkana, Texas.

She was a twin daughter and the fifth child of seven children. Princess grew up in the Rose Hill community and graduated from Dunbar High School. After high school, she began a working career at Lone Star Ammunition Plant for a short time before enrolling in cosmetology. Princess became Director of Instruction for Mary Lynn Beauty School where she remained until retirement.

Princess accepted Jesus as her personal savior at an early age and united with Union Hill Baptist Church where she served faithfully and diligently from youth to adulthood. She served as Trustee, Deaconess, Sunday School teacher, choir member, and wherever her service was needed. Later, Princess united with Hickory Hill Baptist Church under the pastorate of Reverend Paul E. Keener and continued to serve faithfully under the current leadership of Pastor James O. Hood until her health began to fail.

Princess was united in holy matrimony to Eddie Herman Hunter. To this union two sons were born, Eric Hunter and Christopher Hunter.

Those preceding her in death were her husband, her parents, two brothers, and two sisters. Those left to cherish her memory includes:

Great-granddaughter: Na'omi Hestler
