Robert Lee Washington was born March 31, 1945 in Douglasville, Texas to the late parents Macy Washington. Sr. and Margaret Dickerson-Washington. He is preceded in death by two brothers Charles Washington. Sr. and Macy Washington. Jr. Two sisters. Martha A. Warren and Doris Faye Evans. He joined Gum Springs CME Church in Douglasville, Texas at an early age. He later moved to Texarkana. Texas and served as a Deacon at the Rosehill Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Pastor McCoy Murphy, Elder Derek J. Murphy wan his Pastor at the time of his death. Robert graduated from Panhandle High School of Douglasville. Texas in 1963. He retired from Rockwell International/Smith-Blair in 1995 after being employed for 29 combined years.

He leaves to cherish his memories. his wife of 30 years Norma "Jean" Richardson-Washington. Rodderick Washington (Christy) of Mount Pleasant, Texas. Amber Washington of Austin. Texas. LaTressa Fulton of Texarkana, Texas. Redmon Fulton (Jackie) of Lancaster, Texas.
