eternal. Hold to God' s unchanging hand...Sarita Pearl Alley Phillips was born July 17, 1952 to the
parentage of the late RV( Jack) Alley, Sr and Dorothy Faye Alley, New Boston, TX.

Trust in Him who will not leave you, Whatsoever years may bring; If by earthly friends forsaken, Still
more closely to Him cling!...Thus growing in the stature and knowledge of Jesus Christ as her
personal Savior she was baptized and united with the Prosperity Baptist Church under the
pastorage of the late Rev. S.L. Leonard.

Covet not this world' s riches, that so rapidly decay; Seek to gain the heavenly treasures, that will
never pass away!....She attended New Boston Independent School District (NBISD). Later continuing her education she graduated from Texarkana Cosmetology, receiving her license as a certified
professional beautician. As an entrepreneur she owned and operated, Sarita's House of Beauty
for over twenty years. Also, Sarita worked other public jobs during her tenure; Cowden's Sewing
Manufacturing Company, Day & Zimmerman Ammunition Plant. Finally retiring from Texarkana
Independent School District /TISD, Nutritional Department.

On August 18, 1990, Sarita married Cleo Morris Phillips, Sr. To this union one child was born,
Latonya Clerita Phillips who preceded her in death.

Spiritually and socially Sarita was a beacon of light in the Church and community. Her love and
passion for children was insurmountable . She gave her love, time, talent, and finances to support
and encourage any child. Additionally, she served in numerous ministries of the church; Youth Director, Usher, Culinary, Decorating, Pastor's Aide, Sunday school, Transportation, and Women's
Ministry. She actively participated in Kids BEACH Club Ministry a bible based after school program.
Faithfully, she served as 1st Vice President and Banquet Committee Chairperson of the S. A.
Stuckey Youth Auxiliary of Zion District Baptist Association. She was an essential intricate handson servant of the community including organizing and supporting the Christian Coalition for Unity
(CCU) a non-profit organization where she was a member of the Board of Directors.

When your journey is completed, If to God you have been, Fair and bright the home in glory, Your
enraptured soul will view!....The fruit of her labor will always embrace our hearts. The heavenly
Father called His servant "Sarita" and she answered "Yes Lord" on November 26, 2019. The
souls of her daughter Clerita, her father Jack, and grandmother Febbie Shields are now joined by
her to await the rapture.

She leaves precious memories that will be cherished for life:
Her husband, Cleo M. Phillips, Sr; Children – Sundra Gladney, Kim Phillips (Teresa), and Tracey
Phillips of Lewisville, TX and Cleo Phillips, Jr, of New Boston, TX; Loved as her child -Jordan Banks
(Dionna) of Arlington, TX; Mother-Dorothy F. Alley of New Boston, TX; Siblings –Gwendolyn E.
Banks (Melvin) of Hooks, TX; Febbie J. Ellis and RV (Jackie) Alley, Jr of New Boston, TX.
Grandchildren –Urain & Zion Phillips, Loved as grandchildren – Krystle Horsley, Jakylah & Janae
Banks; God daughters: Cassandra Woods, Ambra Roberts, Lakeisha Brown and Renee Griffith;
other relatives, neighbors, and true friends.
