Weslon Ja'Maal Buster was born December 25, 1980, to Sharon Buster Stewart and the late Edwin Lynn Johnson. Yes, he was a Christmas baby, and truly a gift.

Ja'Maal was a 1999 graduate of Texas High School. He completed cosmetology school and became a licensed cosmetologist in the state of Texas. He united with the St. Paul Baptist Church December 3, 1990, under the leadership of the late Rev. B.C. Green. He attended the West Angeles Church of God in Christ while residing in Los Angeles, CA.

Weslon pioneered the art of eyelash extensions in Dallas, Texas. He also perfected an eyelash tool to ease the process of eyelash strip application. His Dallas clientele included the city's elite socialites. Ultimately, he caught the attention of R&B singer Rhianna and soon joined her glam squad. His touring with this superstar eventually landed him in Hollywood. He also toured briefly with Keyshia Cole, another R&B artist.

Ja'Maal's celebrity clientele included Paula Abdul, Cicely Tyson, Janet Fonda, Kim Kardashian, and many others. His entrepreneurial skills continued when he formed his own online business selling eyelashes and fashion accessories to the public. He was featured in top fashion and beauty magazines as the "Eyelash Guru to the Stars", including In Style and Vogue magazines.

Ja'Maal appeared on The Wendy Williams Show, Martha Stewart, and Real Housewives of Atlanta. He was a World traveler and visited many top destinations across the globe.

Ja'Maal touched so many lives during his time here on earth. He leaves to mourn his transition: his parents, Sharon Buster (Wallace) Stewart; siblings, Edwina Brown and Natina Johnson, Dallas, TX, Lakisha Stewart, Winston-Salem, NC, and Wallace S. (Candice) Stewart of Texarkana, TX; aunts & uncles, Veronica Johnson and Anetta Linson, Red Oak, TX, Bobbie (Leo) Wimbush, Arlington, TX, Rev. Arley Thomas, Jr., Dallas, TX, Lloyd (Edwina) Buster, Wills Point, TX, Kelvin (Anna) Buster, Shreveport, LA, Shirley Thomas Dansby and Patricia Buster, Texarkana, TX; as well as a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.
