Willie C. Stiger, 83, of Texarkana, Texas, died Friday, Jan. 27, 2017, at her home. Ms. Stiger was born Sept. 20, 1933. She was retired from Liberty-Eylau School District and was a member of Eleventh Street Baptist Church and Senior Citizens Committee. Survivors include one son, Cleve Gooden of Texarkana; one sister, Elleanor Johnson of Clarksville, Texas; and one brother, Robert Ross of Texarkana. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Eleventh Street Baptist Church with the Rev. Eddie Hill officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens under direction of Haynes Mortuary. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
